3 Summer fashion essentials

Summer season is here; with this in mind, there are closet essentials every woman needs, no matter
what time of year it may be. Depending on your style your fashion, and wardrobe are likely to
change. These are three items however, every woman should own, and can use at any time of the
year, for a day out, night out, or big event you plan on attending.

White shirt -
The long sleeve, short sleeve, halter top, sleeveless; no matter what variety you choose, a white tee
is going to look great on any figure. Add in the fact you can pair it up with colour, go with simple
seamless design, or mix and match with different tops and covers to wear with your white shirt.

Ballet flat -
Another classy, classic style that doesn't get dated. Flats are great for a night out on the town, a
beach day, going to dinner, the movies, or even staying in. They dress up well, can dress down easily,
and can be worn dressed up or casually. No matter what the outfit or attire you have in mind, the
ballet flat is an exceptional shoe for you to pair it with.

Pencil skirt -
Elegant, elongate, accentuate. It is going to help define your figure, your curves, and truly showcase
your assets in a way not too many pieces can do. The skirt is elegant in black, can be purchased in
colour, and comes in a variety of lengths from elegant, to flashy, to showy. You choose the
ensemble, the skirt will likely fit well with it.

No matter what event you have planned, where you are going, or what the occasion, the right outfit
goes a long way. These are three staples in every closet, which can easily be paired for the event, the
date, or even a casual evening in. If you are looking to purchase any of these statement items then
there are loads of Online catalogues which offer
the items.

Fashion ¦ The blush pink obsession.

It is official I think I may be obsessed with this pink shade. I finally got around to picking myself up some new shoes this week and I am so in love with absolutely everything about them. They are the Adidas blush pink Superstar 80's and I am so excited to wear them all the time. I don't tend to wear much colour so these are perfect as they are still pretty neutral but they will add a pop of colour to whatever outfit I'm wearing.

As well as the shoes I've also been loving Barry M's Speedy Nail paint in the shade Freestyle which is a beautiful darker blush pink which just makes the nails look really clean and it's one of those colours that makes then look like you've had a manicure. Finally I also picked up this beautiful blush suede cami from Primark which was only £5. I really love the little bits of gold detail on this and I feel like I'm going to get a lot of wear out of it especially in the summer.

Fashion ¦ Something a little different this christmas.

We’ve all got that one person who is an absolute nightmare to buy for around this time of year whether it’s the woman who has everything or the man who says he wants nothing. Buying a Christmas gift that really means something is a difficult task. I always like to look for really individual brands which offer something a little different than what you can buy on the high street.  Few days ago I received a press release about a Spanish brand and that’s where Unode50 women jewellery come in. UnoDe50 offers a stunning range of both men’s and women’s jewellery. UnoDe50 was set up in the 90’s to create a style of jewellery that was a little different to everything else. All their jewellery is 100% handcrafted in Spain and they pride themselves on their creativity, unique style and bold spirt.

Each of the pieces of Unde50 women’s and men’s jewellery are crafted from Silver plated metal alloys with silver, thread, resin or stone. Giving each piece a little touch of individuality. All of the pieces are made from the same cast made of wax which is hand carved. I love the fact that they really do offer a little bit of everything. You can get incredibly dainty pieces like this fashion necklace or you can get something super chunky like their bracelets.

My favourite bits from the brand have to be the Fashion Necklaces. I think the fact that they offer such a wonderful variety and they are all so individual. I feel like the pieces of UnoDe50 women’s jewellery are something that people would ask about and when you’re as socially awkward as me any conversation starter is a good one so while not do it whist wearing fab accessories. I could also imagine buying a couple of the rings to wear stacked.

My favourite thing about the brand is the way that they incorporate the stones, crystals and pearls so beautifully so that they don’t get lost but they don’t take the attention away from the other little details in the pieces. If you are looking for something to buy someone special I’d definitely suggest having a look. The prices are mid-range but in my opinion for bespoke handcrafted jewellery they are pretty reasonable. I think these pieces would also be perfect for if you are buying for a special birthday or perhaps a wedding anniversary.

Check out here to see last years Christmas posts

Overall I think the pieces are super versatile and so many people would absolutely love to open one of them on Christmas day.

Fashion ¦ The wardrobe overhaul VDM style

If you read my lifestyle posts you will more than likely be aware of the fact that I started college this year. Along with the excitement of finishing my GCSE'S I realised that the fact that I wear about 5% of my wardrobe and that I'm not going to have the safety net of my uniform it was time I cleared out my wardrobe. After watching Vivianna does makeup's latest wardrobe related video I decided that it was time I got my bum in gear and did it.

I started off by having a massive clear out which just made me realise how many of my clothes didn't actually fit me anymore. I was pretty harsh and anything I've not worn in the past couple of months went in a big pile for charity. I also cleared out my shoes while I was at it throwing away any that were uncomfortable or I hadn't worn in the past couple of months.

I then went through everything that was left and I made a list of things I felt my wardrobe was missing. Most of it was pretty basic like jeans and a pair of flat boots but I also thought about looks that I've seen floating around the blogosphere that I loved (the white shirt trend and dungarees)

Obviously I haven't bought everything off my list yet. I actually really enjoyed this process and I would seriously suggest that if you fancy a wardrobe clear out you do it in this way as it stops you buying things that you will never wear to replace the things you've just taken out.

Fashion ¦ Glassesshop.com sunglasses

So basically the last thing I need more of is sunglasses but when the lovely people over at Glassesshop.com asked me if I'd like to review a pair I simply couldn't say no! They also offered me a 50% off discount code for you lovely people (GSHOT50)

Glasses shop offer both prescription glasses as well as prescription sunglasses which you can also get with normal lenses if that's what you need. They are also currently offering a First glasses free offer in which new customers receive a free pair of sunglasses or glasses if they pay the shipping and handling fees.

I decided to choose a pair of pretty classic black slightly elongated corner sunglasses with gold detailing. Unfortunately due to me not needing glasses I can't comment on whether the prescription lenses are effective. My Glasses arrived well packaged and came with their own case and cleaning cloth.

Overall if you are on the lookout for a good quality pair of cheap glasses I'd highly recommend Glasses shop.

Fashion ¦ Orelia London

I'm not one of those girls that has a massive jewellery collection and I tend to wear the same pieces all the time. I was recently scent these two beautiful necklaces from Orelia London and I am so in love with them. The first is the Geometric statement necklace £18* it's just enough to add a bit of something to a plain outfit without being heavy. I am completely in love with it. Something I wasn't 100% about was the mixture of white chain and gold crescent shape  however now I have it I think it adds something a little interesting to the piece. The second is the Double Triangle row necklace £18* which is exactly the kind of thing I would buy, it's very delicate and it looks so beautiful paired with a plain white t-shirt. I feel like this is the one that I'm going to get a lot of wear out of.
Both necklaces are well made and feel high quality and overall I'm super impressed with everything about them. I'd seriously recommend having a look on their website as everything is really reasonably priced.

Fashion ¦ Earrings from Body jewellery

I tend to stick to the same earrings all the time as I am a creature of habit however when I got the chance to order a couple of pairs of earrings from the body jewellery's Ear piercing section I jumped at the chance. I've been wearing the silver sparkly studs a lot as they add just a little bit of glitter to anything. Both pairs are made from stainless steel and are fairly sturdy considering the super low price. The selection is insane and they also offer lots of other accessories for different piercings as well as a large variety of stretchers (Not my forte but there are some really pretty ones on there) I'd seriously recommend having the look on the website if you are into piercings.

* These items were sent for review however all opinions are my own.

I wasn't sure whether to do this post or not but then in the end I just thought why not! I got some super lovely stuff and I'm super grateful, this post isn't to brag I just thought you guys would enjoy it. I've decided that I'm just going to leave it as the pictures and pop in a few little bits of detail rather than talking about everything. If you'd like to see anything reviewed or posts about anything just leave me a comment and I will try and get it up.

What I got for Christmas 2014.

So after months of preparation and present buying the big day is over. Today I thought I would do my what I got for christmas post. This isn't everything it is just the bits and bobs I thought you guys would like to see. Just a little disclaimer I'm not bragging in any way shape or form and if you don't like posts like this just cross it off!

I love little bits like this and this gorgeous little dream catcher will look amazing in my room. I'm not sure where it's from but you can get some gorgeous ones of the internet.

I had to have another bottle of this as it is my all time favourite scent. I've not quite finished my current bottle yet but this will be opened as soon as I do.

I've heard so much about the aromatherapy associates oils so when my nana said pick something little to fill up my present I decided on this as I've heard so many things about them I'm super excited to use this and I'm going to use it in my bath tonight!

I've been wanting a Mac palette forever and I'm very excited to use this some more. I picked out the shades Patina, All that glitters, Satin taupe and Woodwinked.

For my christmas day outfit I had a pair of river island Lana jeans (Which are my all time favourites) and a little striped crop top.

Pj's are the best and these Pete Panda ones are from primark. I love the trousers as they are like thinner jogging pants. I also like the fact I now have socks that match my pajamas.

I haven't had an MUA palette for ages and I really liked the one I had before but the entire palette broke and one of the shadows smashed so I had to get rid of it, so when I found this under the tree I was a happy girlie.

This has to be one of my favourite presents. I've used everything in here and I love everything I think my favourite has to be Deep throat blush. Expect a review very soon!

The final gift I'm going to show you today is this massive soap and glory gift set which is just so amazing. I'm so excited to try all the bits in here especially the whipped clean shower butter as it's something I don't think i've ever heard anyone talk about and it smells amazing!
