Blogmas Day twenty three - Essence Matt Matt Matt lipsticks

 

I love a good budget by and essence is one of my favourite brands for beautiful and affordable drugstore products. The Matt matt matt lipsticks are one of my favourite super budget lipsticks, they are incredibly comfortable, creamy yet look matte on the lips. They have a huge selection of shades as you can see from the swatches below. They are super pigmented and go onto the lips incredibly smooth. 

In terms of the lasting power of these they sit really well on the lips and wear evenly over the day. Don't get me wrong they aren't the most long wearing however I can get a good 6-7 hours wear before they really need reapplying. I love the fact that these are so affordable and offer such a huge range of shades. Even the blue shades are really bright and pigmented.

My favourite shades have to be number 02 which is a beautiful nude shade and number 06 which is a gorgeous classic red shade. I also love number 13 which is a stunning super current greigey purple nude. I love the packaging of these as it's coloured in relation to the shade making it super easy to see in my collection.
