Penny is much much braver than me I adore the idea of this project, here's what penny had to say
Everywhere I look these days there seems to be public slating of others' appearances. Open the newspapers or magazines on any given day and you will see negative comments on the bodies of celebrities, log on to social media and you’ll see people making derogatory remarks or bullying others because they don’t fit in to the idea of “perfection” that we have drummed in to us on a daily basis.
And I’ve had enough.
While I’m under no illusions that this little project might change the way of the world, I do hope that by being part of this you will begin to look at yourself in a more positive way and that this mindset may well rub off on others you speak with. If we can do even a little something and stop a handful of people feeling like they’re not good enough, then we have won.
I got the lovely India from Touchscreens and beauty queens The idea is that we write about 3 things we love about the person and then three things we love about ourselves.
1. Can we first just focus on India's brows that girl has some serious brow game going on and I have some serious brow envy!
2.Here Photography and writing are both flawless and again she leaves me feeling very envious. Her blog is a brillaint mix of topics and I could (and have but not in a crazy stalker way) sit and read it for hours.
3. I also really love her fashion sense, it's fairly similar to mine and I love how she always manages to look so put together in the simplest of outfits.
And for my three things...
1. I really like my eyes, they are by far my favourite feature. I really love the colour of them but I also love them as they are exactly the same as my dad's and grandad's.
2. I really like my hair as it is now. I wasn't sure if a full fringe was a good idea but I really love it. I think it just suits my face better than the sweep-y side fringe and the no fringe at all.
3. I also quite like my sense of humor a lot of people don't really get it. But I think i'm funny.
I love this project idea women need to support each other more like this x
ReplyDeleteExactly the same as kitty said before. Girls need to stick together.
ReplyDeletePlus I have serious envy of your hair.
