MAC Amplified lipstick in Up the amp £15 (Gift) |
If someone told me a year and a half ago that I'd leave the house wearing a lilac lipstick I would have laughed in there face. How wrong I would have been! Today I'm going to be reviewing one of the Mac lipsticks that I got for Christmas.
Up the amp is the most gorgeous pinky toned light purple lipstick although translates as more of a lilac on the lips. Due to the fact it is an Amplified lipstick the pigmentation is very strong and the below lip swatch is one swipe across the top and one across the bottom. In terms of formula this lipstick glides onto the lips like butter and is very moisturizing so it's great for girls with dry lips. I find the lasting power to be very good, around 6 hours. I also find that it wears very evenly and you don't end up with patchy lips.
I really do think this lipstick is a stunner and well worth the £15. This is a really individual lipstick which is most definitely not for the faint hearted!
Have you tried Up the amp? Or is it way out of your comfort zone?
I Have this lipstick and its stunning :)
